Founded in 1966 in the rural east coast of Taiwan, the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation is an international humanitarian organization that began its work in Canada in 1992 and has provided relief aid to 128 countries and areas around the world. Tzu Chi serves one and all in the spirit of one global family. Transcending the boundaries of race, religion, nationality, and language, we serve the world through giving and social service under the notion that “when others are hurting, we feel their pain; when others suffer, we feel their sorrow.”
We hope that our grassroots effort in the communities through charity, medicine, education and humanistic culture will continue to touch people’s hearts, help them cope with daily calamities, and inspire them to join us in our efforts to create a peaceful world.
We sincerely thank everyone who has helped bring Tzu Chi Canada to where we are today. Please continue your generous support to help make this world a better place for all.
