Continuing Education: Calligraphy Class (Surrey)

We invite you to join the “Calligraphy Class” offered by the Tzu Chi Foundation Canada Continuing Education program to explore the beauty of traditional art.

Led by the experienced Instructor Li-Jing Chen, this course will guide you through the techniques and aesthetics of Chinese calligraphy. Instructor Chen studied under renowned masters such as Prof. Chong-Li Bai and Lingnan School master Rong-Xuan Shi, and later under famous calligraphers Wei-Xian Liu and Gong Bi. She currently serves as the Deputy Secretary-General of the North America Chinese Painting & Calligraphy Research Institute and Director of the Western Canada Chinese Calligraphy Association. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your brushwork, you will enjoy the mindful practice of this elegant art form and find inner peace through writing.
