We invite you to join the “Chinese Painting Class” offered by the Tzu Chi Foundation Canada Continuing Education program to explore the beauty of traditional art.

Led by the experienced Instructor Li-Jing Chen, this course will guide you through the techniques and aesthetics of Chinese ink painting. Instructor Chen studied under renowned masters such as Prof. Chong-Li Bai and Lingnan School master Rong-Xuan Shi. She currently serves as the Deputy Secretary-General of the North American Calligraphy and Painting Academy, and her artwork has won the Outstanding Work Award at the Light of China Calligraphy and Painting Exhibition. Whether you are a beginner or looking to refine your skills, you will enjoy the mindful practice of this elegant art form.

  • Dates: March 30; April 6, 13, 20, 27; May 4, 11, 18, 25; June 1 (Mondays, 10 sessions total)
  • Time: 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM

  • Class Size: 6 – 10 participants (Minimum 6 to start. Classes will be postponed in case of severe weather).
