We invite you to join our “Creative Knitting and Crochet Class” offered by the Tzu Chi Foundation Canada Continuing Education program to explore the art of yarn crafts and create your own warm, beautiful pieces.
Led by Instructor Jie-Ru Wu, who has decades of experience in both knitting and crocheting. Whether you want to make hats, scarves, shawls, socks, or sweaters, Instructor Wu can teach you how to master the skills with ease. She also creatively uses eco-friendly plastic yarn to make practical items like bags, coasters, and tablecloths. With a heart full of compassion, Instructor Wu has personally crafted over 4,000 pairs of socks and 1,000 hats, donating them to nursing homes and community centers for those in need. Join us to learn this wonderful craft while spreading warmth and love.
