On the eve of the Mid-Autumn Festival, October 4, 2025, the Tzu Chi North Toronto office hosted a warm and culturally rich tea gathering. The event began with a sincere prayer for those affected by the recent typhoon in Taiwan.
Distinguished guests, including Richmond Hill Mayor David West and Conservative Party Leader Pierre Poilievre, attended and praised Tzu Chi’s global humanitarian efforts and its dedication to promoting Chinese culture.
The celebration was filled with joy, featuring a Chinese character challenge and a creative pomelo carving activity for families. Accompanied by live Guzheng music, the event was a beautiful expression of community, heritage, and the spirit of reunion.
