On May 14th, Tzu Chi Foundation, Canada held the annual major event which is the 3 in 1 event for celebrating the Buddha's Day, Mother's Day and Tzu Chi Day at the Vancouver head office.
More than 100 people including VIPs and Tzu Chi donors and volunteers participated in this solemn event. During the ceremony, Acting Mayor of Burnaby, Cllr. Sav Dhaliwal, and Acting Mayor of Richmond, Laura Gillanders, represented Mayors to read the official proclamation to proclaim May 14th, 2023 as The Tzu Chi Day in City of Burnaby and City of Richmond.
The other 2 cities also proclaimed May 14th as The Tzu Chi Day. They are City of Surrey and City of Vancouver.
