Want to experience the elegant world of traditional ink and brush? We invite you to join the “Chinese Painting Class” offered by the Tzu Chi Foundation Canada Continuing Education program to explore the beauty of traditional art.

The course is led by experienced instructor Li-Ching Chen. She studied under Professor Chong-Li Bai and Lingnan School master Rong-Xuan Shi, as well as renowned artists Wei-Xian Liu and Gong Bi. Currently serving as the Deputy Secretary-General of the North American Calligraphy and Painting Research Institute, Teacher Chen brings years of teaching experience and award-winning expertise. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced art enthusiast, join us to cultivate your mind through the art of ink painting!

This course is taught by Mr. Qi-Kang Zou, who has 30 years of experience in calligraphy. He has studied calligraphy and seal carving under renowned Vancouver calligraphers Wo-Wen Li, Heng Zhang, Wei-Xian Liu, and Li-Peng Wang. He has also participated in numerous Chinese Artists Association exhibitions and co-authored calligraphy books. Whether you are a beginner or have some experience, you will enjoy the art of writing under his expert guidance.
